He completed principal editing on a new video production of Garsington Opera’s move to a new home. Danny lived at Garsington Manor when he first moved to Oxford and this brought back many happy memories. Danny worked alongisde Medialane International to edit down a year’s worth of H.D. filming down to just three minutes.

Danny teamed up with PH Initiatives to provide video and audio coverage of a major transport conference in London. The entire event was filmed in H.D. to provide video highlights to both the organisers and companies taking part, while seperate recordings were made to compliment the footage and provide audio podcasts.

Danny now has full facilities of his own and his new studio has been used this month for sessions for BBC Somerset, BBC Radio Derby, Spire FM and his airline show for Etihad Airways produced by Spafax in Los Angeles.

Danny’s new studio now offers live links using a Comrex Access. Not only can Danny’s studio be connected, but now with the Comrex Accesss Portable, Danny can bring the studio to you. Watch out for much more on this in the coming days.

With no sleep and only a Fringe guide for company she had to experience the breadth of entertainment Edinburgh brings whether it’s 3pm or 3am. The challenge was set last Friday on The Radio 2 Arts Show, material was recorded in Edinburgh in a 24 hour period last weekend then edited by Danny back in Oxford this Monday and Tuesday.

Recorded in his home studio, it appears he now wears glasses, he has though instantly lost weight without even trying – so he’s happy !

BBC Somerset was nominated in the same category, Danny was promo voice there too.

As the Moscow State Circus travels around the U.K. , it’s Danny’s voice that welcomes you into the big top and explains the story of the Babushkin Sekret.

This is the second year that Danny has worked with Bobbie Pryor at Little Red Noise to help create the show’s narration.

Danny’s career saw him start at BBC Radio Leicester, taking in Trent FM, SGR Colchester and FOX FM before working for the last five years at BBC Oxford. He’s specialised in station production and presenter coaching and has worked as Manager of the Leicester based Radio Training Unit and launched SGR Colchester as Station Manager. He launched the UK’s first city based TV channel – The Oxford Channel and has worked on screen for four ITV regional news programmes, presenting live travel news.

In his new role he’ll combine his work as P.C. with fronting the morning show across Aylesbury Vale. Danny said “Mix 96 is an exciting station with plenty of opportunity for growth, now that the station can benefit from the resources of the UKRD group, I’m looking forward to leading a presentation team that’s firmly established in the heart of Aylesbury”

It’s a pleasure to work with you, your hard work has paid off  (and this after a Sony 2 years ago too !)

Danny was also the promo voice for Breaking news – BBC Devon ”One Night in Halden’, and holiday fill in for Bronze Interactivity winner Jim Hawkins on BBC Radio Shropshire.
